Start with the night you want to have. A few choices about time, mood and streaming services can turn an overwhelming catalog into a useful shortlist.

- Choose a format. Decide whether you want a complete movie or a TV series. If you are open to either, let WatchWink explore both.
- Consider your time. A short evening and a weekend movie night call for different choices. Set the time you have instead of building a list you cannot finish.
- Choose the mood. Think about the experience you want: something funny, tense, comforting or thought-provoking. Your mood can matter more than what is currently popular.
- Check where you can watch. Select the services you use, then open a title’s details to check the available subscription, free, rental or purchase options.
Already have a title or performer in mind? Search from the home page. Prefer browsing? Wink’s Video Store lets you explore by year or era, with filters for narrowing the shelves. Searching within an era is a useful way to revisit a particular period without needing to remember a title.
Choose streaming services that match your subscriptions
Use My services to update your favorites directly. You do not need to restart the recommendation questions whenever you change subscriptions.
A subscription listing and a rental store are different ways to watch. Amazon Prime Video generally refers to titles included with that subscription; Amazon Video can also list individual rentals and purchases. A channel sold through another platform may require a separate subscription. Read the service descriptions and the availability label rather than assuming every familiar logo is included in your plan.
Availability can vary by country and change over time. WatchWink helps you discover titles and find services; the streaming provider confirms the current price and whether a particular title is included. WatchWink does not play the full movie or provide a streaming subscription.
TMDB, IMDb and WW Score: what are you comparing?
These are separate sources of feedback. TMDB and IMDb scores, when available, come from their respective audiences. WW Score represents ratings submitted by WatchWink users. A score with very few votes is a different kind of signal from one with a large audience, so look at the vote count as well as the number.
Your own ratings also help describe your taste. Rate what you have watched honestly instead of copying the public average. When a title is not appealing, use the app’s feedback controls to refine your choices. A high public score can be a useful starting point, but it does not have to match your preference.
Save a shortlist for the next movie night
Save interesting titles to My Winks and choose or create a collection as you save. Collections can be practical: short weeknight movies, a director you want to explore, family nights or films to watch with a friend. Keeping a few purposeful lists makes the next decision easier.
You can browse and get recommendations without an account. An account lets you keep supported saved picks and preferences in sync across devices. Your personal saved lists and account screens are not public search landing pages.
